Full job description

Hillbrow Care Home is a family-run care home with an excellent reputation for quality care, rated "Good" by the CQC, in a happy and friendly environment.

We do not offer sponsorship visa.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant or an existing Team Leader to join our team. If you are reliable, compassionate and have a positive attitude, this is your chance to work for an independent provider with a real focus on providing a home-from-home environment for our residents and our staff.

About the role:
To maintain and improve the quality of care provided by Hillbrow
You will be responsible for running the shift, ensuring you maintain a motivated and enthusiastic team
Promote dignity and respect
Effective team management through mentoring and observations
You will be responsible for ordering and checking in medication and carrying out monthly audits.
Create and update electronic care plans and risk assessments.
Carry out supervisions
Ensure rotas are covered
Liaising with other healthcare professionals such as Nurses, GPs, and occupational therapists and arranging appointments
Assist the Care Manager as and when required, including covering additional shifts
You will have protected time to undertake certain responsibilities

A Level 3 in health and social care is essential for this position and wilingness to undertake the QCF Level 4 in Leadership and Management for Health and Social Care after successful propabtion period..
