About Timescape

Timescape – Live Escape Games is Northern Ireland's highest-rated escape room experience, delivering immersive adventures that challenge players to think, collaborate and escape against the clock. Based in the heart of Belfast, we're passionate about creating unforgettable experiences for our guests and sharing those experiences through engaging, creative content.

We're looking for a talented Content Creator & Social Media Manager to take ownership of our social media channels and help showcase the excitement, personality and creativity behind the Timescape brand.

If you're passionate about creating engaging content, have an eye for design, and know what makes people stop scrolling, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

This is a hands-on creative role where you'll be responsible for planning, creating and managing content across our Instagram, TikTok and Facebook channels.

Working closely with our team, you'll capture the excitement of our escape rooms, develop engaging campaigns, and help grow our online audience through creative storytelling and high-quality content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create and publish engaging content across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
  • Film and edit high-quality short-form video content, including player reactions, behind-the-scenes footage, room highlights, team content, trend-led videos and promotional campaigns.
  • Design eye-catching graphics for social media, promotions and marketing campaigns.
  • Create engaging Instagram Stories to keep our audience connected and informed.
  • Plan and schedule content across all social media platforms.
  • Manage comments, messages and community engagement.
  • Monitor content performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and audience growth.
  • Create one fully designed marketing email each month, including copy, graphics, subject line, preview text and calls to action.
  • Bring fresh ideas, trends and creative concepts to the table that help Timescape stand out from the competition.

Expected Weekly Deliverables

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver:

  • 4 short-form videos (Reels/TikToks)
  • 2 static graphic posts
  • Instagram Stories throughout the week (typically around 3 story updates)

Content should be adapted and optimised for Instagram, TikTok and Facebook where appropriate.

In addition, each month you will also deliver:

  • A minimum of one on-site content capture session per month, with additional sessions as required to deliver the agreed content output.
  • 1 fully designed marketing email, including copy, graphics, subject line, preview text and calls to action.
  • A monthly performance report, including key insights and recommendations.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience managing Instagram, TikTok and Facebook accounts.
  • Excellent graphic design skills with a strong eye for visual storytelling.
  • Strong video filming, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to create engaging short-form content that captures attention.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard creative software, including Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent tools.
  • A solid understanding of social media trends and best practices.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • The ability to work independently, manage deadlines and take ownership of projects.
  • The ability to attend our Belfast venue for regular content capture sessions.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within entertainment, hospitality, leisure or visitor attractions.
  • Experience creating marketing emails.
  • Experience analysing social media performance and using insights to improve results.
  • Photography or videography experience.

What We Offer

  • £1,000 monthly freelance retainer.
  • Creative freedom to shape the voice and personality of Northern Ireland's highest-rated escape room.
  • Flexible hybrid working.
  • The opportunity to create content for an exciting, immersive business with regular campaigns, seasonal promotions and future room launches.
  • Complimentary and discounted escape room experiences.
