Full job description

If you take on Form F assessments as an independent social worker in South London, Medway or Kent, have a look at this one. The fee is £2,500 per assessment, and the work is self-employed.

Evolve Therapeutic Fostering is an independent fostering agency. Due to increased fostering enquiries to join our service, we require additional Form F Assessors. We offer assessments to independent social workers when our own team has no capacity, and independent or not, everyone completes our onboarding and safer recruitment checks before you are allocated your first assessment.

The work

  • Home visits and interviews with the applicants and other relevant professionals.
  • Analysing references, safer recruitment checks, and the supporting information.
  • Writing the Form F report, with your recommendation, in line with fostering regulations and the agreed timescale.
  • Attending Fostering Panel.
  • Keeping records in line with safeguarding, GDPR and fostering regulations.

What you need

  • A recognised social work qualification and current Social Work England registration.
  • Experience completing Form F assessments.
  • Assessment, analysis and report writing skills, and a working knowledge of fostering legislation and safeguarding.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
