Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee our childrens softplay and ensure the highest standards of service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, with a focus on child friendly events and care. As a General Manager, you will lead a diverse team, manage daily operations, and foster an environment that prioritises customer satisfaction and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the softplay, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Ensuring high-quality standards in food preparation and presentation.
  • Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and professional growth.
  • Implement effective team management strategies to maintain a motivated workforce.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by training staff in hospitality best practices.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage supply orders to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas to uphold food safety standards.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, striving for continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Make sure every child has an amazing experience during their visit

Skills

  • Proven experience in a supervisory/management role within the restaurant or hospitality sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing front of house operations.
  • Experience in serving customers with a focus on enhancing their experience.
  • Familiarity with barista duties is an advantage, contributing to overall beverage service quality.
