Full job description
Due to significant growth, we are looking to recruit fully Qualified Electricians.
You will be working throughout the UK installing Solar technology for commercial customers, as well as routine maintenance, testing, and remedial work on existing Solar arrays.
The ideal candidate will be electrical qualified, ideally holding their 18th Edition and 2391 inspecting and testing. Previous experience in Solar is essential for this role.
The Role:
- Installation of Commercial/Industrial units including ground mounts.
- Covering the whole of the UK (Accommodation and working away allowance provided if required).
- Ensuring that work complies with electrical and building codes.
- Connecting solar panels and inverters and other equipment to the building’s power supply.
- Repairing or replacing PV-related wiring, equipment and fixtures.
- Assembling, installing, testing and maintaining PV-related electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures.
- Testing PV electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring to ensure compatibility and safety.
- Planning layout and installation of PV-related electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
Candidate Requirements / Qualifications:
- Electrical: 3 years (essential)
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (B&S) (essential)
- Experienced in Solar PV installation (essential)
- BS7671: 2018 electrical installation (18th edition) (desirable but not essential)
- Inspection and testing (desirable but not essential)
- City and Guilds 2372 PV Training or similar
- Full Clean UK Driving Licence
- Highly motivated
- Strong work ethic
- Works well as part of a team and on their own
- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
Pay rate is depending on experience and qualifications
