As the business continues to grow, we're looking to strengthen our sales team with an experienced sales professional who shares the same values and can help us expand across Dundee and further into Scotland.

The Role

As a Residential Solar & Battery Sales Consultant, you'll work with homeowners who have already shown an interest in solar PV and battery storage.

All leads are provided by Stellar Renewables, so there is no cold calling and no requirement to generate your own leads.

Your role is to meet with customers, understand their energy usage, goals and reasons for considering renewable energy, and guide them through the options available to them.

This isn't about putting pressure on customers to make a decision. It's about asking the right questions, explaining the benefits clearly, presenting the right solution and giving the customer the confidence to move forward when the system makes sense for them.

You'll represent Stellar Renewables in customers' homes, so professionalism, trust and communication are just as important to us as your ability to close a sale.

Day to Day

• Attending pre-booked appointments with homeowners who have already expressed an interest
• Conducting in-home consultations and designing tailored solar and battery recommendations
• Educating customers on the technology, energy savings and return on investment
• Preparing and presenting clear, honest proposals
• Managing your pipeline in our CRM, from first appointment through to signed contract and deposit
• Consistently hitting and exceeding your sales targets

What We're Looking For

• Proven sales experience, ideally in solar, renewables or another consultative, high-value sales environment
• A strong track record of hitting or exceeding targets
• Experience using a CRM system to manage leads and pipeline
• A consultative selling style: you inform and guide, you don't pressure
• Self-motivated, well-organised and driven to earn well
• Based in or around Dundee, comfortable travelling for field appointments
• Full UK driving licence and your own transport

Job type: Self-employed, commission-based

Pay: £20,000 - £90,000 per year

OTE: £60,000 - £90,000 per year, commission uncapped
