Electrical Design Engineer
An established and growing engineering business is looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join its team. This is a great opportunity to work on a varied range of commercial, residential and industrial projects.
The Role:
- Design LV electrical systems and produce drawings, schematics and specifications.
- Carry out cable sizing, load assessments, fault level and lighting calculations.
- Work with clients, architects and project teams.
- Attend design meetings and site visits.
- Provide technical support through project delivery and commissioning.
About You:
- Degree/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- 2+ years’ electrical design experience.
- Good knowledge of current regulations and standards.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and electrical design software.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable: Experience with Amtech, Dialux/Relux, Revit MEP, Trimble, BIM, renewables (Solar PV, EV & battery storage), and/or professional engineering membership.
