Uk Eco Energy Solutions Ltd are looking for Solar panel installers to join their existing team.

Applicants must be electrically qualified and certified to at least 18th edition standard. And should have at least 1 years Experience in the installation of solar panels/ renewable sector as this is an essential requirement.

Successful applicants will be specifically trained to work installing solar panels and the electrical systems involved in converting solar generated energy into electricity.

In all cases they will be responsible for connecting the panels to the costomers main distribution board and power grid. They must follow all applicable regulations concerning the installation of this type of equipment and carry out testing for the same.

Solar panel installers may also be required to maintain panels and the wiring systems that they install aswell as call outs to non company 3rd party installed domestic faults.

This is a job field that involves the risk of injuries, so applicatants must also be safety-conscious and use equipment that can help protect them from falls.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation of solar PV systems, solar home battery systems, ev car charging points including electrical wiring, mounting of inverters and panels, testing, installation of main switches and other standard commercial and residential electrical work.
• Work as a team member during installations, ensuring efficient, safe and quality work with adherence to Uk Eco Energy Solutions high standard of installation, best practice and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site visits to ensure all pre-installation requirements are met. Work directly with Uk Eco Energy Solutions staff, contractors, consultants and partners, providing pre/post-sales support, and advice on solar PV design and installation requirements and standards.
• Monitor and assess quality of solar PV installations carried out by Uk Eco Energy Solutions installers and contractors, including regular desktop and on-site checks of installations.
• Identify (e.g. pick lists) products/components required for domestic and/or commercial projects.
• Remain up-to-date with requirements and best practice relating to solar PV design and installations and implement changes when necessary to ensure installations meet standards. (Training provided)
• Help develop documentation, manuals and best practice guidelines.
• Adhere to all Flexi-orb, Napit, HiPS and/or MCS requirments as and if required.

Qualifications: (Not all are neccessary)

• 18th Edition
• Level 3 Electrical Installation
• Level 3 Testing and Inspection
• AM2
• Driver’s license.
• Evidence anyn cousre qualificatrions int he renewable energy sector

Salary: £37k- £41.7K+
