Full job description

SSL Conversions are a well established campervan converter and we are looking for an experienced motorhome technician/engineer to lead the production of our camper conversions.

Master technician or experienced engineer with transferable skills will also be considered.

Duties will include:

  • 12v /230v wiring installations
  • Fitting and wiring of 12v and 230v appliances such as fridges, electric steps, LED lights, DC-DC chargers, leisure batteries, solar controllers, solar panels, inverters, electric roof lights, etc
  • LPG fitting and installation including LPG/230 v water heaters, gas hobs, ovens and grills etc
  • Diesel heating system (Eberspacher) fitting and installation
  • LPG/230v Heating/Water system (Truma) fitting and installation
  • Under chassis water tank fitting
  • Push fit water system installations
  • Fitting of accessories such as cycle racks, awnings, TV aerials etc
  • Habitation sign offs
  • Demonstrate vehicles to customers on handover

Ideal candidates would be from the Motorhome/Caravan industry and hold ACOPS and CITO qualifications.
