Full job description

Pyramid Roofing Ltd work as a solar pv roofing contractor, carrying out commercial and domestic solar pv installations for a variety of principal contractors around the uk and re-roof works for domestic customers in the west yorkshire area.

We are on the lookout for an experienced solar pv roofer to join our team and deliver projects to our clients around the uk.

Responsibilities

  • Install Commercial and Domestic Solar Pv systems,
  • Ensure proper placement of array and ensure mounting kit is installed to manufacturer specification.
  • Ensure mc4 connectors are correctly installed.
  • Test and troubleshoot strings in a safe manner, ready to hand over to the client.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines throughout the installation process

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience installing Solar Pv systems on commercial & domestic properties, full competentcy from start of install to finish.
  • Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability instruct other members of the team, liase with clients and projoect manager effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2years commercial solar installation experience
  • Working at heights
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Excellent customer service skills

This is a self employed postiton with invoices paid every friday, 7 days after invoice.

Most of the work we carry out is away from home, accommodation will be provided and evening meal allowance is paid at £20.00 per night.

Our team travels from brighouse, west yorkshire each morning or at the beginning of the week and it would be beneficial if applicants live in the local area or have their own transport.

CSCS card is a minimum requirement, other required training courses can be provided.
