Full job description

Impact is an award winning family business trading for 17 years and we are looking for an experienced Solar Panel & Battery Storage Electrician who will be working with qualified Solar PV teams.
Must have Solar PV Installer & Battery Storage experience.
Van for work is provided.
Full PPE and Uniform provided.
All tools provided.
Must have Full Driving License.
Full training provided.
Working in and around Colchestor you will be responsible for installing the electrical components for solar panels and battery storage onto domestic and commercial properties.

Must Have:
Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation, or recognised apprenticeship/equivalent

18th Edition Wiring Regulations – BS 7671, current qualification

AM2 or AM2E practical competence assessment, or recognised equivalent route

Level 3 Solar PV installation qualification recognised by EAS

Level 3 Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS) qualification recognised by EAS

Initial Verification, Inspection and Testing qualification, e.g. C&G 2391-50 or 2391-52

Suitable qualification for EV Charging installations

Your day will start at 07:30 at our Colchestor depot and finish when the work is completed - typically between 15:30 - 16:30.
20 days paid holiday + 8 bank holiday days.
Wages - £28 per hour

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
