Job Overview
At Dwellow, we’re making low-carbon homes simple, from heat pumps to solar and batteries. We’re now looking for a Solar PV Electrician to join our growing team.

You’ll be installing and commissioning solar PV systems, as well as supporting ASHP wiring. You'll also have the opportunity to play a key role as we continue to build out and scale our solar business. If you care about quality, enjoy solving problems, and want to be part of a company that’s growing fast, you’ll fit right in.

This is a full-time, field-based role (company vehicle provided) with strong career growth as our solar offering expands.

Importantly you need to be able to work independently including planning / scheduling work for when both in the field and in the office / working remotely.

Responsibilities

  • Install, test, and maintain electrical wiring and solar PV systems including inverters, battery storage and EV chargers
  • Install and wire air source heat pumps
  • Carry out electrical assessments ahead of installation - both remote and on site
  • Troubleshoot AC and DC circuits to solve installation issues and conduct repairs to existing electrical installations
  • Work closely with customers, our other engineers and sub contractor partners to ensure installations are delivered to our quality standards
  • Ensure all work complies with BS7671 regulations and MCS install standards

Requirements

Essential

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Certificate
  • MCS approved Solar PV and Battery storage quals
  • Experience working with solar PV systems (min 2 years)
  • Experience working with ASHP systems (min 1 year)
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainable technology
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work calmly and confidently under pressure

Desirable

  • Experience working with Sigenergy, Fox and Tesla
  • Experience working with Vaillant and Ideal air-source heat pumps

If you want to help accelerate the UK’s transition to clean energy, and grow your career as part of a growing company, we’d love to speak with you.
