Job Overview

Multi-Skilled Operative – Grounds & Exterior Maintenance

We're looking for a reliable, hands-on Multi-Skilled Operative to join our team, covering a broad range of grounds and exterior maintenance duties across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General grounds maintenance (mowing, strimming, hedge trimming, litter picking, and site tidiness)
  • Window cleaning (traditional and water-fed pole systems)
  • Solar panel cleaning and inspection for visible faults or debris
  • Gutter clearing and maintenance
  • Jet washing of hard surfaces, paths, patios, and building exteriors
  • Working at height using ladders, MEWPs, or similar access equipment, in line with health and safety regulations
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards found on site
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in good working order

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance, cleaning, or a similar multi-trade role
  • Comfortable and confident working at height (training/certification a plus, e.g. IPAF or PASMA)
  • Full UK driving licence (own transport may be required)
  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks in all weather conditions
  • Good attention to detail and pride in a job well done
  • Ability to work independently and manage a varied daily schedule
