About Eaasy Heat

Eaasy Heat is a growing residential renewable energy company specialising in solutions that help homeowners improve energy efficiency and reduce their energy costs. As demand for renewable energy continues to grow, we are expanding our team and looking for a qualified Electrician to support our installation projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician looking to develop their career in the renewable energy sector. Experience in Solar PV and Battery Storage is desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

We are looking for a qualified, reliable and motivated Electrician to join our growing team, working on residential electrical installations and renewable energy projects, including solar panels, battery storage and associated electrical systems.

You will be responsible for completing electrical work safely, efficiently and to a high standard, ensuring all installations meet the required regulations and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out electrical installation work on residential properties.
  • Complete electrical testing, inspection and certification.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.
  • Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health and safety requirements.
  • Diagnose faults and resolve electrical issues effectively.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers and installation teams.
  • Ensure jobs are completed efficiently, with attention to detail and quality.

Essential Qualifications

Applicants must hold the following qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
  • Inspection and Testing qualification.
  • AM2 assessment.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience working with Solar PV installations.
  • Experience installing or connecting Battery Storage systems.
  • Previous experience in domestic electrical installations.
  • Knowledge of renewable energy systems and associated electrical requirements.
  • A proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to high-quality work.

Don't have Solar PV or Battery Storage qualifications?

That's not necessarily a barrier. Eaasy Heat is willing to support the right candidate in obtaining the relevant Solar PV and Battery Storage training. If you have a strong electrical background and the essential qualifications, we would be interested in hearing from you.
