Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Electrical Contracts Manager based in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.

Due to company growth, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join our established team. If you're looking for a rewarding role with a well-respected company and meet the criteria outlined below, we encourage you to apply.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Electrical Contracts Manager will oversee a range of responsibilities including:

- Managing day-to-day operations of electrical projects

- Job costing and procurement of materials

- Overseeing projects from design to completion, including solar and battery storage installations

- Reviewing and submitting drawings and technical documents for approval

- Attending site meetings and liaising with clients and other stakeholders

- Supervising labour and ensuring projects adhere to programme and budget

- Maintaining effective communication with team members, managers, clients and stakeholders

- Providing H&S CDM documents, work programs, contract meetings, and O&M manuals

- Collaborating with other company managers and supervisors

- Achieve and maintain electrical industry standards accreditations and certifications

Skills Required:

To succeed in this role, you should be self-motivated with strong attention to detail, willing to go the extra mile for the company.

Essential qualifications include:

- Previous experience in a similar role, 10 years experience in electrical systems required

- 18th Edition Certification

- Knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and safety standards

- Self-motivation and ability to work independently while meeting deadlines

- UK driving license

- Ability to build rapport with colleagues, customers, and clients

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and building service drawings

- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project

- Proficient in English for written and spoken communication
