Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex – field-based across Sussex and surrounding areas

Salary: £35,000–£50,000 DOE + commission

Job Type: Full-time, permanent

Start Date: ASAP

About Optic Energy

Optic Energy is a growing renewable energy company specialising in solar panels, battery storage, EV charging, air conditioning and heat pumps.

We're looking for a friendly, confident and enthusiastic person to join our team and help us continue growing.

The Role

You'll work directly alongside our Director, learning everything you need to confidently manage customer enquiries, surveys and quotations.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Visiting customers in their homes to understand their energy needs.
  • Carrying out detailed solar and battery storage surveys.
  • Designing suitable systems and preparing quotations.
  • Explaining recommendations clearly and answering customer questions.
  • Following up on quotations and managing customer relationships through to booking.
  • Working closely with our installation and operations teams.

What We're Looking For

  • A naturally friendly, approachable and confident personality.
  • Someone who enjoys meeting new people and building relationships.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • A genuine willingness to learn and develop technical knowledge.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Experience in solar, renewables, surveying or customer-facing sales would be beneficial, but not essential.
