Full job description

Better Planet is a 'one stop shop' for different types of renewable energy technologies. We are looking for an electrician who has the drive and organisational skills to enhance our team. Better Planet is a fast growing and exciting company to work for.

Key requirements:

· Electricians must hold the Electro technical Services NVQ at Level 3

· Knowledge of all UK regulations relating to electrical work on site

· Confident in reading and understanding schematics

· The candidate must be able to work as part of a team and be a confident individual who has the ability to work under their own initiative

· A current UK driving licence

Key responsibilities will include:

· Attending project sites to connect electrical supplies, both single phase and three phase, to the different renewable energy technologies (including heat pumps, solar PV systems, underfloor heating, fan coil units)

· Understanding all electrical aspects of our projects – for both domestic and commercial projects

· Giving technical support to other people on site with regards to the regulations affecting electrical work

· Carrying out all work to extremely high standards of workmanship

· Adhering to time requirements
May from time to time need to carry out other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job

Work on sites accross the south-east
