Power Systems / Grid Compliance Engineer

Greater Belfast, Northern Ireland | Renewable Energy | Competitive Package & Enhanced Benefits

We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing engineering business delivering exciting projects across renewable energy and power infrastructure.

This is a great opportunity for a Power Systems / Grid Compliance Engineer to work across a varied portfolio of projects, including solar PV, battery energy storage (BESS), generation schemes and high-voltage infrastructure.

The Role

You’ll support power systems analysis, grid integration and compliance across electrical networks ranging from 400V to 110kV, helping deliver safe, efficient and compliant engineering solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in some of the following areas:

  • Grid compliance and Northern Ireland G99 requirements.
  • Power system modelling, load flow and fault level studies.
  • Power quality and harmonic assessments.
  • Grid connection applications and compliance studies.
  • Solar PV and battery energy storage systems.
  • HV/MV networks, including 6.6kV, 11kV, 33kV and 110kV.
  • LV electrical systems and generation technologies.

You don’t need experience in every area — we’re keen to speak with engineers who have relevant power systems expertise and a desire to develop further.
