In this energetic position, you will be responsible for installing advanced solar roofing systems that harness the power of the sun. Your expertise will help accelerate the shift toward sustainable energy while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every project. Duties

  • Prepare rooftops for solar panel installation by assessing structural integrity and ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Operate heavy machinery such as Mewps to assist with site preparation and material handling
  • Use hand tools and power tools to install mounting systems, electrical components, and solar panels with precision
  • Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot installation issues and ensure all components are properly aligned and secured
  • Connect electrical systems safely, adhering to electrical codes and standards, to optimize system performance
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to guarantee durability and safety standards are met

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with , hand tools, and power tools is highly desirable
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
  • Electrical experience or background in electrical systems enhances your effectiveness in this role
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety and efficiency
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting technical challenges
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials and working at heights
  • Relevant certifications in construction, electrical work, or welding are a plus but not mandatory
