Full job description

Grant Store Ltd is looking for an experienced Solar PV Electrician to join our expanding renewables division.

We’re looking for someone with strong fault-finding ability, technical knowledge, who can help maintain high standards across our Solar PV and Battery Storage projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fault finding and diagnostics on Solar PV and Battery Storage systems
  • Inspection, testing, and certification of installations
  • Reviewing and signing off works
  • Providing technical support and guidance to installation teams
  • Supporting commissioning and optimisation of systems
  • Carrying out on-site electrical assessments where required

You will play a key role in maintaining quality across our Solar PV and Battery Storage projects.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within Solar PV
  • Strong knowledge of battery storage systems
  • Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience with inspection, testing, and certification
  • Qualification BS 7671 (18th Edition)
  • Ability to review and interpret technical system designs
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • Experience with Fox ESS
  • Experience with Sigenergy
  • Experience with Growatt
  • Experience with EcoFlow
  • Experience with Givenergy
