Business Development Manager - Air Source Heat Pumps / Solar / Insulation

OTE £80-100k (Uncapped)

Optama is a 5 star rated whole house renewables installation business that has doubled in size in each of the last 5 years . As Home Energy Scotland and BUS approved specialist installers we help customers access grants created by the Scottish and UK Government to improve the energy efficiency of homes. Offering full retrofit solutions. we install air source heat pumps, solar panels, insulation, and efficient heating systems throughout Scotland. With an Excellent Rating on Trustpilot we have built a reputation based on great advice, technical expertise, and outstanding customer service.

As a direct result of this growth we are looking to add to the Renewables Retrofit sales team. This is an exciting opportunity with great growth potential for the right individual. The magnitude of the grant funding (in excess of £30k grant funding available per household) and the direct impact that it has on people’s homes means that we have an exceptionally high conversion rate and an abundance of quality inbound leads every day!

The transition to renewables is experiencing exponential growth. If you are a talented and driven sales professional with experience selling in the domestic market this is an outstanding opportunity to deliver Air Source Heat Pump, Solar/Battery, and Insulation solutions to an ever increasing customer base. You will be supported by an internal telemarketing team who will book your appointments, and support you will customer follow up and general sales support.

In the role you will be :

  • Attending 2 pre-qualified appointments per day
  • Selling multi measure and individual renewable solutions
  • Selling after care service solutions
  • Providing our customers with best advice on the tailor made solution specific to their own property
  • Supporting customers with grant funding applications

You must have:

  • Track record of B2C sales
  • High attention to detail and take pride in your work
  • A passion for over delivering on targets
  • A desire to continually improve
  • The ability to use your own initiative and able to manage your own workload
  • Be punctual and be professional always whilst representing the company
