About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrician who wants to work on a sub-contracting basis exclusively for Zenith ECO Solutions.

Please note: You must hold a valid Solar PV qualification and Liability insurances to be considered for this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work, leads by example, and is confident overseeing day-to-day site activities while remaining hands-on.

You will undertake a wide variety of electrical work, ranging from domestic installations to large-scale renewable energy projects, including:

• Solar PV systems
• Battery storage systems
• EV charging installations
• Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation, maintenance, inspection, testing, and fault finding.
• Complete all relevant certification and compliance documentation.
• Conduct Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in line with current regulations.
• Oversee and support daily site activities.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, health and safety, and customer service.
• Work independently while managing workloads efficiently.
• Support the business in maintaining and developing Qualifying Supervisor (QS) responsibilities.
• Assist with the installation of renewable energy technologies, including Solar PV, battery storage systems, EV chargers, and Air Source Heat Pumps.

Essential Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent)
• Valid Solar PV qualification
• Strong understanding of EICR requirements and compliance
• Excellent fault-finding and testing skills
• Experience working with renewable energy technologies and energy-efficient systems
