We are looking for a Heat pump surveyor / Retrofit assessor to join our growing and dynamic team.

About the role:

• Job title: Heat pump surveyor / Retrofit assessor
• Employment type: Full time, Permanent
• Salary band: up to 40k depending on experience
• Location: Working remote from home/ field location covering HOVE area after initial training.

You must be DEA certificated and be a qualified Retrofit Assessor, who has good IT skills, and have a professional manner when dealing with both customers and colleagues. You will be provided with a company vehicle and all tools and equipment you require to perform your duties. training will be given at our HQ.

Primarily you will be surveying for air source heat pump installations but you will also be required to complete EPC’s and surveys in both the private and social housing sectors for Loft, Cavity, Room In Roof, Solid Wall Insulation and solar pv.

Key responsibilities will include:

• You will be responsible for attending customers’ homes to gather data for suitability for a heat pump.
• Identify heat pump and cylinder locations and basic property fabric – double glazing, solid brickwork.
• Inspect and photo existing heating system, oil, gas, electric. Hot water storage / combination boiler.
• Provide design team with information from site.
• Get to work with the latest digital technology, all work completed digitally on a tablet.
• Identify any potential risks or issues with a potential heat pump installation.
• To work with operations team and in-house CRM with job information.

About you:

• Experience in EPC / building / property sectors is required.
• Training will be provided.
• Great customer facing skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good attitude to learn.
• A full and clean driving license. (required)
• DEA certification (required)
• Retrofit certification (required)
