Full job description

Overview

Install solar panels on residential and commercial roofs, helping customers adopt renewable energy. You’ll work outdoors and at height, following safe working practices and installation plans.

Duties

  • Prepare roof areas and install mounting systems and solar panels.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations and checks.
  • Work with the team to handle materials and keep the site tidy.
  • Your impact: Careful, secure installations help customers generate renewable electricity safely and reliably.

Experience

  • Practical experience in roofing, construction or a related trade is useful.
  • Hand-tool and power-tool skills are important; mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
  • Electrical experience, welding or excavator experience is welcome but not essential.
  • Able to follow safety procedures and work at height.

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
