Job Title: Electrician – Solar PV & Electrical Installations
Location: Rackheath, near Norwich
Salary: £33,000 – £37,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Green Solar Footprint Limited. We are looking for an ambitious applicant, passionate about renewable energy and quality electrical work. You will play a vital role in delivering a range of projects, from domestic electrical installations to commercial solar PV systems. Located in Great Britain, this role is vital for the successful installation and maintenance of solar energy systems, contributing to our commitment to sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain solar photovoltaic systems according to industry standards.
  • General electrical installation and maintenance work
  • Installation of battery storage and EV charging systems
  • Fault finding and diagnostics
  • Ensuring all work is completed to current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and company standards
  • Utilise power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installations.
  • Conduct electrical inspections and troubleshoot any issues that arise during or after installation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualified
  • Proven experience in both general electrical work and solar PV installations
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Reside within a commutable distance of Rackheath, Norwich
  • ECS Gold Card (desirable)
  • Solar PV or battery storage accreditations (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Ability to work with various power and hand tools safely.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
