If successful you will be joining a small efficient team. Due to the size of the company this will allow you to have endless progress opportunities. In this role you will be mainly field based with the option to work from home occasionally. Your role will include visiting pre-qualified leads to discuss the benefits of solar panels with the aim of securing a sale.

This role is commission only for the right individual, this could lead to significant progression into leadership positions.

Must have at least 2 years experience in a residential sales role within the solar sector

We are looking for passionate solar sales consultants to join a fast-growing solar and battery installation company. You will have the first contact with customers, providing and educating them with information about products and the benefits of going solar. Your duties will include analysing the needs of the customer, calculating resources, preparing quotes, and providing after sales support. Leads and Training will be Provided. Must have previous sales experience.

• Speaking with customers to educate them on solar products and equipment.
• Providing customers with information about company equipment and solar systems.
• Gathering information to accurately identify the customer’s solar needs.
• Selecting solar energy products and systems to best suit the customer’s needs.
• Providing after sales service including courtesy calls and site visits.
• Following up on sales quotes from other members of the sales team.
• Generating potential leads for new accounts.

Requirements:

Must have a driving license.

Solar energy consultants must have strong customer service skills, so they can effectively interact with clients and potential clients. They also need to have good analytical skills, so that they can effectively process information and use it to reach reliable conclusions. Computer skills are needed to use analytical software and produce reports.

Solar energy consultants should also have technical skills, so they can understand the technology they are promoting. Problem solving skills are an asset when they are providing energy use assessments and developing energy cost saving strategies.

Pay: £30,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
