Full job description

Bloom Renewables is a rapidly expanding clean energy business based in Dartington, South Devon. We are passionate about supporting society's transition to a greener, cleaner future. We are looking for a Lead Solar PV & Battery Installer who is super-organised, thrives on responsibility and enjoys leading a team. It’s essential that you have at least three year’s solar panel and battery installation experience and are keen to learn more.

The Role:
You will be responsible for leading solar and battery installations on both commercial and domestic properties, ensuring they are carried out to the highest standard and in line with internal/external regulations and standards. You’ll be supervising our friendly and experienced team on slate, tile, box profile and fibre cement roofs, travelling throughout the South West in our company vans with the roof team.

About You:
- at least 3 years solar installation experience

- experience of leading a team

- comfortable with responsibility and thrive on being accountable for Bloom’s high installation standards and excellent customer service

- a can-do, solutions focused attitude and are self-managing and proactive

- are friendly, flexible and a superb communicator

- are highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks effectively

- get great satisfaction from bringing the highest quality service to the customer and the team

- are driven by contributing your energy to creating energy resilience for future generations

- comfortable using your knowledge and experience to improve our processes and coach other members of the roof team

Qualifications:
- 18th Edition qualification (not essential)
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools (essential)
- Knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety procedures (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams and schematics (essential)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to trouble shoot (essential)
- Excellent communication and leadership skills (essential)
