Solar Sales Surveyor Earnings: £150 per completed survey | 6 guaranteed surveys per week OTE: £45,000 – £75,000+ per annum (Uncapped) Location: Field-based / Regional (Nationwide coverage) Working Pattern: Flexible schedule | Up to 15 qualified surveys available weekly | Periodic overnight stays required (Fully Expensed)

About the Role

We are expanding our field force and seeking motivated, reliable Solar Sales Surveyors to carry out home technical and sales surveys for domestic solar PV and battery storage systems.

You will be visiting pre-booked, fully qualified, warm residential appointments. There is zero cold calling—your role is to assess property suitability, evaluate electrical/roof setups, walk customers through custom system options, and close the solution on site.

What We Offer

  • Guaranteed Income: 6 pre-booked surveys guaranteed every week to secure your base earnings (£900/week minimum output potential).
  • High Volume Potential: Access up to 15 fully qualified surveys per week.
  • Uncapped Earning Structure: Flat-rate pay of £150 per completed survey, providing clear path to £45,000–£75,000+ OTE.
  • Full Expense Coverage: All required overnight accommodation and travel expenses are fully covered by the company.
  • Warm Lead Pipeline: Every customer has expressed direct interest and qualified for a technical home site survey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed physical and technical home surveys for solar PV, battery storage, and smart energy setups.
  • Assess roof orientation, shading, structural feasibility, and main consumer unit/electrical connections.
  • Present tailored renewable energy proposals directly to homeowners, explaining system benefits, payback estimations, and smart grid export savings.
  • Maintain high conversion rates by delivering professional, clear, and consultative sales presentations.
  • Submit detailed survey reports, site photos, and technical design data via our digital portal immediately post-survey.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in field sales, direct-to-consumer sales, or technical surveying (Solar PV, Heating, Windows/Doors, or Home Improvements experience strongly preferred).
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand domestic electrical systems, roof structures, and solar layouts (full product training provided).
  • Outstanding face-to-face communication, rapport-building, and closing skills.
  • Flexibility to travel within assigned regional territories, including willingness to stay overnight when required.
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own reliable vehicle.
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and professional attitude.
