Salary: £38,000 to £47,500 per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Hours: 37.5 hrs per week; Monday to Friday
Locations: Leeds, Doncaster, Coventry, Central London, Gatwick, Purley, Newmarket

Role Overview
As an Electrical Installations Tutor, you will deliver both practical and theoretical electrical training to learners, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and those of relevant awarding bodies. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Delivering a range of electrical installation courses, including C&G 2365 Level 2 & 3, C&G 2382, C&G 2391, C&G 2377, and BPEC Solar PV and Battery Storage.
- Assessing students' work in accordance with guidelines and maintaining accurate records.
- Developing course materials as required.
- Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and Equality & Diversity policies.
- Providing ongoing support to students, reviewing their performance, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Collaborating effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Who We’re Looking For
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Industry Experience: Proven recent experience in domestic, commercial, and/or industrial electrical installations.
- Teaching Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 teaching qualification, OR you must be an experienced electrician ready to transition into teaching.
- Maths & English: Level 2 qualification in both subjects.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical and science principles, coupled with practical skills in electrical installations.
Desirable Skills:
- Level 3 Assessing qualification or equivalent.
- Level 4 Internal Quality Audit certificate or equivalent.
- Additional Level 3 or 4 electrical qualifications such as C&G 2396, C&G 2391, or green credentials (e.g., Solar PV, EV, EESS).
Personal Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage tasks independently.
- A problem-solving mindset, with patience and a calm demeanour.
- Strong leadership capabilities, balanced with a collaborative team spirit.
- Full UK Driving License
