Princes LHS Ltd a well established electrical contractor are looking for an experienced, self motivated electrician and/or solar pv installer with a willingness to learn and adapt to the ever changing developments in the technological industry.

There has never been a more exciting time to join a forward thinking company who move with the times installing electric car chargers, solar pv, battery storage, heat pumps, MVHR, with numerous industry approvals including the likes of Tesla Powerwall, My Energi Zappi, Samsung, Mitsubishi, LG and Eco Forest.

The suitable candidate:

  • Must possesses good organisational skills
  • Must be a hard working, trust worthy and self motivated individual who posses a positive can do attitude and is able to work unsupervised using their own initiative and to set deadlines.
  • Communication skills must be strong in liaising with colleagues as well as direct with clients and customers.
  • The job role will involve carrying out all types of electrical work both domestic and some light commercial including maintenance, remedial works and inspection and testing. Experience with wiring air source and ground source heat pumps, underfloor heating, s plans may also be beneficial as would experience in commercial rewiring/refurbishments.
  • Experience in wiring new builds would also be beneficial.
  • Experience in installing battery storage and Solar PV including the installation of the panels and mounting system would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
  • Experience with installing car chargers an advantage.
  • The majority of work is located within a 1 hour radius of our office.
  • The engineer should possess industry recognised Electrical Qualifications. Inspection & testing, and 17th/18th Edition Regs qualifications are preferred but not essential.
  • The successful candidate will be expected to complete various on site paperwork such as electrical installation condition reports, minor works certificates, short form risk assessments, job sheets, time sheets and any other relevant paper work.
  • Mobile phone, ipad, company vehicle and company branded workwear will be provided.
  • Training will be given where required.
  • Salary is negotiable dependent on capabilities and relevant experience.
  • Company Pension provided after 3 months.
