    • What We’re Looking For.
    • You role will entail installing solar PV systems (including panels) and battery storage (if applicable) to the highest standard.
    • Develop specialist skills within the energy and power generation sector.
    • Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 per year (depending on experience)*.
    • Admin: You’ll be supporting with the day-to-day admin requirements of the business, helping with paperwork associated with solar PV systems across NI & ROI.
    • Electrical: You’ll be wiring and testing elements of solar PV, battery energy storage systems and EV chargers in a range of environments.
    • This role involves working on diverse projects, ensuring high-quality installation of solar panels on residential and commercial properties.

GTEC Training is seeking experienced freelance Electrical Tutors/Assessors to support the delivery of high-quality electrical and technical training programmes across the UK. We are looking for industry professionals who can bring their practical experience into the classroom, workshop and online learning environment, helping learners develop the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the electrical industry. This flexible freelance opportunity is ideal for experienced electricians, trainers and assessors who are passionate about developing the next generation of skilled electrical professionals.

  • Maintain learner records and assessment documentation.
  • Participate in CPD activities.
  • Follow quality assurance and compliance requirements.

Essential Requirements:

  • Occupational competence and recent industry experience within the mechanical or building services sector.
  • Relevant industry-recognised qualifications
  • Experience in delivering training, mentoring,coaching or assessing.
  • Excellent Communication and organisational skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA)
  • Experience in delivering accredited qualifications.

Pay: £250.00-£350.00 per day
