Overview
Due to ambitious growth plans we are seeking a dedicated and skilled BDM Specialist to join our team to develop and nurture a network of Solar Installers.
You must have experience of selling renewable energy products to both domestic and commercial installers.
We are looking for a talented individual to join a new business with a hunger to become the go to distributor of renewable products to the installer network. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow with us and benefit from the personal development and financial rewards as the business expands over the next few years.
Duties
- Generate your own sales pipeline of installers on residential and commercial properties.
- Present our core products to potential customers.
- Convert new customers and develop those accounts to ensure that they are both profitable and long standing.
- Assist with the marketing of existing and new products.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and create timely and accurate reports as requested by the management team.
- Attend exhibitions and trade shows as required.
- Keep abreast of competitor activities and new products and opportunities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns during the sales process.
Experience
- Previous experience selling to solar installers is mandatory.
- Familiarity with popular renewable brands is mandatory.
- Highly presentable with good interpersonal skills are a pre requisite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A valid driver's licence is required for travel to various job sites.
