Ingeni Renewables Ltd are looking for a qualified Electrician with experience in solar pv installations to join our company. The roles would suit a qualified electrician with 2+ years experience, familiar with 3 phase aystems. Salary would be dependant on experience and level of qualification.

Responsibilities:

• Solar PV and EV charging installations primarily within the industrial and commercial sector;
• Conducting pre-installation electrical surveys, tests and inspections;
• Commissioning systems post-installation to the standards required by the NICEIC and MCS;
• Troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or substitute as required;
• Working closely with others within the team, including designers, labourers and other electricians;
• Completing all required documentation;
• Conducting testing and inspections generally in the commercial/industrial sector when required;
• any other duties reasonably requested by management;

The successful Candidate will have:

• Experience in solar PV/ BESS / EV charging installations;
• Qualifications min Level 3 and 17th/18th Edition of the IEE Regulations;
• Level 3 award in the installation and maintenance of small scale solar PV systems ideal but not essential;
• Ability to carry out test & inspection and complete test sheets to NICEIC and MCS standards;
• Good working knowledge of DC connections and 3 phase systems;
• Ability to use electrical and hand tools and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints;
• Strong computer skills;
• Good knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines and willingness to operate within any additional requirements set by a commercial/industrial context;
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills and be able to work using own initiative;
• Flexibility to work outside of contracted hours and stay away from home overnight if required;
• Full UK Driving Licence essential (clean preferred)
