## About us

Spectrum Energy Systems has been designing and installing solar PV and battery storage for homes and businesses across the East Midlands since 2011. We're MCS certified, NICEIC approved and members of the RECC, and we've completed over 1,000 installs and connected more than 10 MW of clean generation across the region.

We fit quality kit, we do the job properly, and we look after customers from first phone call through to switch-on. Every install carries our 5-year workmanship guarantee, and we intend to keep it that way.

## The role

We're looking for an experienced installer to join our install team, working on both domestic rooftops and larger commercial arrays. You'll be on site most days, turning our designs into finished, working systems.

Day to day you'll:

- Install roof mounting systems, panels and cabling on domestic and commercial jobs

- Work from our designs and drawings, and flag anything on site that needs a rethink

- Keep your work tidy, safe and to the standard our guarantee depends on

- Talk to customers on site politely and clearly — you're the face of the company while you're there

- Look after the van, tools and materials so jobs run smoothly

You'll work alongside an experienced team, with the office handling design, grid applications and paperwork so you can focus on the install.

## What you'll need

- Proven experience installing solar PV — roofing/mounting, DC stringing

- Comfortable working at height and to a consistent, tidy standard

- Able to read install drawings and follow a design

- A sensible, safety-first attitude on site

- A full UK driving licence (regular travel across the East Midlands)

Useful but not essential — we'd like to hear from you either way:

- IPAF, PASMA or working-at-height tickets

- Experience on commercial-scale arrays
