Job Title: Weekend Live-Out Housekeeper/Nanny

Reporting to: The Principals, plus wider team

Family Parents, primarily Mother at home, plus 4 Children (6, 11, 15, 17)

Location: Chelsea, London

Hours: Saturday & Sunday, ideally 7am to 11am and 3pm to 10pm (flexible);

taxi home provided after late shifts

Salary: From £25 gross per hour, dependent on experience

The Role

A proactive and experienced Weekend Housekeeper / Nanny is sought to support a busy private household in Chelsea.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining high-standard housekeeping with confident childcare support. The position is focused around the family’s busiest periods, mornings and late afternoons/evenings, requiring someone energetic, adaptable, and naturally organised.

The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining a calm, well-run home environment, while also being a warm and capable presence for the children. They will work closely with the weekday Housekeeper and live-in team to ensure consistency across the household.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being busy, takes initiative, and is comfortable moving between practical housekeeping duties and family-facing support.

Key Responsibilities*

Household Cleaning & Upkeep

• Maintain exceptional cleanliness and presentation across all areas of the home.
• Support with morning resets and evening turn-down of the house.
• Assist with ongoing cleaning, tidying and organisation throughout the weekend.
• Ensure high-use areas (kitchen, living spaces, bathrooms) are consistently immaculate.

Laundry & Household Tasks

• Support with laundry, ironing and linen changes as required.
• Ensure towels and bedding are fresh and well maintained.
• Assist with general household organisation and upkeep.

Kitchen & Meal Support

• Prepare simple, nutritious meals for the children.
• Assist with table setting, clearing and kitchen organisation.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised and fully reset after use.

Childcare Support

• Provide hands-on support for the two younger children (6 and 11), particularly during mornings and evenings.
• Assist with breakfast and evening routines.
• Support with activities, supervision and general care across the weekend.
• Maintain a calm, kind and engaging presence within the household.

Family & Household Support

• Be a visible and helpful presence during busy family periods.
• Assist with ad hoc requests from the Principals.
• Support with babysitting as required (additional hours available).

Requirements

• Legally able to work within the United Kingdom.
• Minimum 3 years working in a similar private household role.
• Excellent references required

Pay: From £25.00 per hour
