Job Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Sonographer, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. As a Sonographer, you will utilize advanced ultrasound technology to capture detailed images of patients’ internal structures, aiding physicians in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations on patients across various specialties, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, and musculoskeletal imaging.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly and ensuring their comfort throughout the examination.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, adjusting settings to obtain optimal images for accurate diagnosis.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare teams to review images and provide preliminary findings when appropriate.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring all imaging data is properly documented and stored securely.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and infection control standards to protect patients and staff.
  • Stay current with technological advancements in sonography and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sonographer or Ultrasound Technician with a strong understanding of diagnostic imaging techniques.
  • Certification from a recognized professional body such as the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in operating various ultrasound equipment and software systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and provide compassionate patient care.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to sonography practices.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends as needed.
