Full job description

Royal Nawaab is more than a restaurant; it is a London institution for luxury and celebration. We are seeking a dynamic Wedding & Events Sales Manager to lead our commercial growth across our two iconic London sites.

This role is for a "High-Energy Closer" who understands that luxury events require a perfect blend of sales grit and meticulous planning. You will lead the charge in filling our diaries, serving as the face of the brand for both the historic Art Deco Hoover Building and our flagship Ilford venue.

Key Responsibilities1. Revenue & Sales Growth

  • Inbound Excellence: Take full ownership of all inbound enquiries, ensuring a "gold-standard" first impression and rapid conversion.
  • Corporate Outreach: Proactively approach corporate clients for large-scale conferences, product launches, and Christmas parties.
  • Commercial Targets: Drive the "full cycle" of sales—from initial viewing and custom proposal to contract signing and deposit collection.

2. Wedding & Event Orchestration

  • The Wedding Journey: Manage the delicate lifecycle of a wedding, including menu tastings, floor plan coordination, and specialized supplier liaison (Decor, AV, Stages).
  • Multi-Site Management: Seamlessly manage event diaries for both Perivale and Ilford, ensuring no lead is missed and no detail is overlooked.
  • Event Handover: Ensure a flawless transition from the sales office to the operations team, maintaining the highest service standards "on the night."

3. Brand Ambassador & Partnerships

  • Outreach & Pipelines: Build long-term event catering pipelines and partnerships with external venues and wedding planners.
  • Face of the Brand: Represent Royal Nawaab at trade shows and industry networking events across London.

Why Join Royal Nawaab?

  • Prestige: Manage events in the world-famous, Grade II listed Hoover Building.
  • Uncapped Earnings: A lucrative commission structure designed to reward high-value bookings.
  • Authenticity & Heritage: Represent a brand known for award-winning, 100% Halal authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine.
  • Employee Perks:
  • Complimentary meals at our world-class buffet while on duty.
  • Professional toolkit provided (Company Laptop & Phone).
  • Access to professional development and internal promotion as we expand.
  • A vibrant, fast-paced environment where you are treated like family, not just a number.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years in a senior sales-focused Event or Wedding Manager role.
  • Track Record: Proven success in proactive outreach and meeting corporate/commercial targets.
  • Cultural Expertise: Deep understanding of the South Asian wedding market and cultural nuances.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, high organisation, and a "self-starter" mentality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£42,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Free parking

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)

Work Location: In person
