Southern Medical Group are looking for a new Practice Manager.

We are a 6 partner GP practice located in the south of Edinburgh ideally positioned on bus routes and close to the Royal Infirmary. We are actively involved in training medical students and are a training practice. We are a friendly and supportive team.

As Practice Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running and continued development of the practice. Your role will include handling business operations and managing staff. You will be supported by a senior management and administrative team. You will work closely with the GP partners ensuring the practice operates efficiently and effectively.

Hours required : 20-25 hours per week with access to the NHS Pension scheme. Hours can be flexible to work around your schedule.

Management experience is preferred but practice management experience not essential.

Pay offer will be dependent on experience.

Essential skills include excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills, computer literacy and an enthusiasm for making positive changes. We are looking for someone to bring energy and positivity to the role. You must be able to lead, motivate and support a team. You will be organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities.
