Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Staff member and be at the heart of creating delicious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist with meal assembly to deliver exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, measuring ingredients, and assembling dishes according to recipes and standards
  • Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers to ensure timely meal service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
  • Follow food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure all meals are prepared in a safe environment
  • Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure visually appealing presentation for customers
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for daily operations
  • Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or dining staff when required

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or culinary setting
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward collaboration
  • Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary fundamentals
  • Good physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving kitchen items throughout shifts
  • Prior experience in serving or interacting with customers is a plus but not required
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable and would be considered a strong advantage
