A secondary school in St Helens is looking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join their Modern Foreign Languages department from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated teacher who is passionate about languages and committed to helping students develop confidence in both spoken and written Spanish.

The Opportunity
  • Full-time Spanish teaching role starting in September
  • Teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging Spanish lessons that cater to a range of abilities
  • Support students in developing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
  • Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages participation and confidence
  • Assess pupil progress and provide feedback to support improvement and attainment
  • Prepare students for assessments and examinations in line with curriculum expectations
  • Contribute positively to departmental planning and wider school activities where appropriate
The Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Spanish within a secondary school setting
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Modern Foreign Languages
  • Is committed to supporting pupil progress and engagement in language learning
  • Brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a positive attitude to the role
