Full job description

SEO & Ecommerce Manager

BL5, Permanent hire (Remote-friendly, UK) | £45,000–£52,000

About Us

London Lash Pro is one of the UK’s leading professional lash and beauty brands, selling exclusively to trained lash technicians across the UK, EU, France, and US. We operate five Shopify stores across these markets and our product range spans consumables, tools, and education. We’re a commercially driven, founder-led business focused on tightening performance and building the infrastructure to scale.

The Role

We’re looking for an experienced SEO & Ecommerce Manager to lead our organic search strategy and oversee trading performance across five regional Shopify stores. This is an SEO-led role with real commercial grounding. The priority is technical excellence, international SEO, and GEO, with enough ecommerce confidence to keep onsite trading performance on track.

You’ll own the organic search roadmap end-to-end, work cross-functionally with content, development, and marketing teams, and report directly into the leadership team. On the ecommerce side, you’ll provide oversight of onsite trading, conversion rate, merchandising, and the promotional calendar, working alongside an ecommerce team.

What Success Looks Like

We are looking for measurable progress across three areas:

  • Organic traffic growth: sustained increase in qualified organic sessions across all five stores
  • Ranking improvements: stronger visibility on high-intent, professional search terms relevant to lash technicians
  • AI search visibility: improved brand presence and citation within GEO platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity
  • Ecommerce: conversion rate and AOV improvements supported by clear weekly trading reporting

Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Page Optimisation

  • Lead keyword research and mapping strategies to guide content creation and optimisation
  • Optimise title tags, meta descriptions, heading structures, internal linking, and content architecture across key pages
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities through competitor analysis and search intent research
  • Implement schema markup (FAQ, Article, Product, etc.) to enhance SERP appearance

Technical SEO

  • Own the technical SEO roadmap, including crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals, and structured data
  • Conduct comprehensive site audits to identify and prioritise technical issues impacting organic performance
  • Work closely with web developers to implement technical recommendations accurately and efficiently
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to canonicalisation, hreflang, pagination, and log file analysis
  • Maintain and improve XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and redirect strategies

International SEO

  • Own hreflang implementation and management across our five regional stores (UK, EU, France, US, ES)
  • Ensure technical and content parity across markets where appropriate, and flag gaps where localisation is needed
  • Monitor regional performance independently and adapt strategy by market
  • Support Shopify Markets configuration and troubleshoot technical issues arising from multi-market setups

SEO Audits

  • Plan and execute full-spectrum SEO audits (technical, on-page, off-page, competitive) on a regular cadence
  • Prioritise audit findings into actionable roadmaps with clear business impact estimates
  • Deliver clear audit reports and present findings to senior stakeholders
  • Track the uplift from implemented audit recommendations over time

Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)

  • Develop and implement GEO strategies to improve brand visibility within AI-generated search results (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Overviews)
  • Monitor brand mentions and citations across generative AI platforms and identify optimisation opportunities
  • Collaborate with content teams to create authoritative, entity-rich content that resonates with LLM-driven search
  • Stay up to date with the rapidly evolving GEO landscape and adapt strategies accordingly

Ecommerce Optimization

  • Provide commercial oversight of our Shopify stores: flagging conversion drop-offs, UX issues, and trading anomalies
  • Support the promotional calendar, ensuring campaign go-lives are executed cleanly across all stores
  • Own GA4 ecommerce tracking: traffic, conversion, and revenue by store and channel
  • Contribute to weekly trading performance reporting for senior stakeholders
  • Identify and escalate onsite issues (traffic anomalies, conversion drops, technical faults) quickly and clearly

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on SEO experience in a commercially focused environment
  • Proven experience with hreflang implementation and international SEO across multiple regional sites — essential given our five-market setup
  • Hands-on Shopify SEO experience, including familiarity with Shopify Markets
  • Proficiency with SEMrush (Site Audit, Position Tracking, Keyword Magic Tool, and Competitive Research modules)
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge including HTML, CSS basics, JavaScript SEO, and server-side concepts
  • Experience conducting and presenting end-to-end SEO audits
  • Familiarity with GEO principles and monitoring tools for AI-driven search surfaces
  • Confident GA4 user: able to build views, interpret ecommerce data, and translate findings into action
  • Commercially literate: comfortable working with CVR, AOV, and conversion funnel metrics in a trading context
  • Clear, concise communicator able to summarise performance for non-technical senior stakeholders

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Shopify Liquid for minor front-end edits
  • Experience working with a professional or B2B product audience
  • Google Tag Manager experience

Working Pattern

This role is mostly remote, with occasional office days for team sessions, campaign planning, and key business moments. You’ll work closely with the ecommerce team, brand and creative team, retention team, and paid media agencies on a regular basis.

Pay: £45,000.00-£52,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • Work from home

Work Location: Remote
