Speech & Language Therapist (Band 5)
Term Time Only | 22.5 hours per week
FTE £31,080 – Speech & Language Therapist (Band 5)
Pro rata salary: £16,927 – £20,533
Salary dependent on skills and experience

Role Overview

We are working in partnership with a specialist school and college who are seeking a confident and motivated Speech & Language Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team.

This is a rewarding SEND-focused role working with children and young people aged 5–19 with speech, language and communication needs, learning difficulties and associated additional needs.

You will play a key role in delivering structured, individualised therapy that directly supports pupils’ communication development, learning access, and engagement in education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined caseload of children and young people with complex needs
  • Deliver assessment, intervention, and therapy planning
  • Provide 1:1 and small group therapy sessions
  • Embed communication strategies across the curriculum
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Candidate Profile

  • HCPC and RCSLT registered Speech & Language Therapist (essential)
  • Strong interest or experience in SEND or specialist education settings
  • Confident working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in schools desirable but not essential
  • NQP therapists welcome to apply
