About AIOS

AIOS is building the first vertically integrated AI doctor in Europe.

We’re >$250M ARR, serving >100k/mo patients, growing >10x YoY. We’re Europe’s fastest growing healthcare company. We’re profitable.

As our wedge into the European healthcare system we’re using GLP-1s, the fastest growing consumer product in history. We’re the only AI-native GLP-1 provider in Europe.

Our master plan:

  • Step 1 $1Bn/yr: Over the last 12 months we've grown 40x to >100k UK GLP-1 patients. In 2026, we’ll hit $1Bn/yr and become #1 GLP-1 provider in UK.

  • Step 2 $10Bn/yr: Blitzscale Europe. Become Europe’s largest GLP-1 provider by acquiring, retooling, then rapidly scaling regulated infrastructure across the top 10 EU markets, just as we did in the UK.

  • Step 3 $100Bn/yr: Use our scale to vertically integrate across agentic patient care, autonomous prescribing, robotic dispensing, and dark factory manufacturing of medication. We'll be the first and only vertically integrated AI doctor in Europe.

TLDR = 2026-2030 is the blitzscale landgrab until the semaglutide patent cliff, then we vertically integrate and own the whole value chain. The only way to keep up with this scale is to replace all marginal human time with AI.

Our infrastructure will have served 100 million patients worldwide by 2035. We’ll then use that infrastructure to deliver next-generation healthcare products at mass scale for low cost so every human can live at least 100 healthy years.

In so doing, we’ll become the world’s first trillion-dollar healthcare company.

Being a UK Talent Lead at Bolt Pharmacy (under AIOS)

We are building a world-class team.

As UK Talent Lead at Bolt Pharmacy, your fundamental role is to make sure that’s actually true.

This is not a traditional HR role. You are not here to sit in the back office, process paperwork, or act as a passive support function. You are here to raise the talent density of the company, protect an A player culture, and build the systems that allow exceptional people to do the best work of their lives.

Your mandate is simple, but difficult:

  • Proactively recruit the best talent in the UK

  • Build a tight People Ops function (onboarding, training, payroll, equity, systems) that scales as we grow

  • Make sure no part of the operation is ever blocked by lack of headcount, weak hiring, poor onboarding, or avoidable people-process gaps

  • Help create a culture where high standards are normal, ownership is expected, and A players want to stay

Great performance in this role means growth is never constrained by talent. No matter what type of operator the business needs, you know where to find them. You’ll stay close enough to the operation to understand what great looks like, and stay proactive enough so that we’re never caught flat-footed.

You will manage relationships with locum agencies, stay close to leadership forecasting, and make sure every team has the talent and support needed to execute. You will work directly with senior leaders, not around them. This role requires someone who can move fast, hold a high bar, and operate with very little hand-holding.

If you really nail this role, you’ll be considered for future senior roles (UK Chief of Staff, Global Head of Recruiting) as Bolt and Aios scale.

This is a full-time, fully on-site role at Bolt Pharmacy in Blackburn, England.

You’ll report directly to the Aios Head of Talent (Jordan Pellikan as Interim).

You’ll also work most closely with:

Key responsibilities

What are the key responsibilities of this role

  • Talent acquisition: Own end-to-end hiring across Bolt Pharmacy: build pipelines, craft sharp job adverts, run tight processes, coordinate interviews, drive offers, and close exceptional candidates across all functions.

  • Sourcing and pipeline building: Build repeatable sourcing engines for critical roles. Map talent markets, work referrals, proactively outreach candidates, and keep warm pipelines ready before the business is desperate.

  • Operationalized Onboarding: Make sure new hires become productive quickly through strong onboarding.

  • People operations: Build and run the core people systems: onboarding, offboarding, contracts, employee records, payroll coordination, equity administration, HRIS/ATS hygiene, compliance workflows, and documentation.

  • Performance: Help managers retain strong performers, identify high-potential people, and address underperformance quickly and fairly.

  • Culture and standards: Reinforce high standards, urgency, ownership, radical candour, care, and low tolerance for mediocrity across every new hire and team.

  • Workforce planning: Stay close to growth plans, capacity needs, seasonal spikes, and locum requirements so headcount never becomes the bottleneck.

  • Locum and agency management: Own relationships with locum agencies and recruitment partners.

Need to have

  • Operator: You are energised by being close to the work. You detest bureaucratic, back-office HR roles.

  • Talent acquisition: You have hired strong people across multiple functions and can point to candidates you hired who materially raised the bar.

  • Judgment: You know how to spot real ability, drive, and ownership. You are not easily fooled by credentials, titles, or corporate jargon.

  • Sourcing chops: You can build pipeline yourself, not just manage inbound applications or agencies. You prefer hard-charging outbound headhunting and know this is the only way to get A players.

  • People ops: You have owned or helped build core people systems such as onboarding, offboarding, contracts, employee records, HRIS/ATS hygiene, payroll coordination, documentation, and compliance workflows.

  • Performance: You are comfortable helping managers navigate performance issues, spot retention risks, and jump onto underperformance.

  • Ownership: You have helped build or protect a high-performance culture where strong people feel challenged and supported.

  • Sharpness: You are organised, detail-oriented, and able to build simple systems that enable the org to move faster without getting sloppy.

  • Leadership trust: You are comfortable working directly with senior leaders, including challenging them when needed.

  • UK employment law: You understand the fundamentals of UK employment law, including contracts, employee records, right-to-work checks, and people-process compliance.

Nice to have

  • Startup or scale-up experience: You have worked in a high-growth environment where priorities change quickly, the bar keeps rising, and nobody hands you a playbook. You may have previous Chief of Staff experience or ran your own agency.

  • Agentic: You are a doer. You have been pulled into important problems, taken ownership outside your lane, and figured things out without waiting for permission.

  • Regulated experience: You have worked in a heavily regulated environment where sloppy people processes create real risk. This doesn’t scare you.

  • Systems thinker: You look past the immediate people problem and fix the system that created it.

  • AI-native: You use AI tools to move faster, improve quality, reduce admin, and increase your own output.

  • Clockspeed: You can get dangerous in a new area quickly.

  • Range: You can run several important workstreams at once without dropping the ball.

  • Networker: You already know exceptional people you would be excited to bring into Bolt.
