Bank Chef | Spire Little Aston | Sutton Coldfield | Bank | Flexible Shifts | Competitive Hourly Rate

Spire Little Aston Hospital are looking for a Bank Chef to join our Catering team on a flexible bank basis. This role will cover annual leave, sickness and busy periods, with shifts available between 7am – 6pm, including some weekends.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Chef who enjoys working in a professional environment and delivering high-quality food and service to patients, staff and consultants.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Support with the preparation and cooking of meals
  • Deliver food service to patients, staff and visitors
  • Assist with food orders and dietary requirements
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Support with stock rotation and kitchen organisation
  • Follow food safety and health & safety procedures
  • Assist with cleaning and general kitchen duties

Who we're looking for:

Essential

  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Previous experience working within a kitchen environment
  • Experience preparing meals for large numbers
  • Good communication skills and a professional approach
  • Understanding of food hygiene and health & safety standards
