Team Leader - Children's Residential Therapeutic Practitioner

Location: Walthamstow

Salary: Salary range dependent on qualifications and experience £34, 024.80 - £36, 044.00, including £50 per night sleep-in.

Full UK Driving License is required.

Harmony Residential Homes Ltd is looking for an experienced Senior Residential Worker to work with 7-17 year olds with behaviour and emotional difficulties. We are looking for someone who possess passion and ambition, with experience within a children's care home with supervisory responsibilities. If you are dynamic, have worked in a Children's Residential Care Home and have the enthusiasm to want to make a difference to children and young people in care, then we want to hear from you. Due to the specialised nature of this work you should be able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of adolescents, particularly those in care. To meet the child’s emotional needs through providing a structured environment which as far as possible builds on the strengths of the child’s experience in their natural family or previous placement.

Purpose of Job:

Responsible for ensuring a high standard of childcare practice through the day to day running of Harmony Residential Homes Ltd, in conjunction with the requirements detailed by the Registered Care Home Manager and National Minimum Care Standards on behalf of the Harmony Residential Homes Ltd. Supervision of staff, supporting and directing whenever required.
