Duties and Responsibilities

The UCL School of Management’s team of Receptionist and Facilities Administrators will provide both a reception and facilities management service at Level 38 and Level 50 of 1 Canada Square and administrative support to School staff. In addition to ensuring a professional and welcoming front of house service to students, staff and visitors, they will be responsible for managing facilities issues, monitoring room bookings, supporting the Executive Assistants and logistical support for events.

The role holders will be expected to work occasional flexible hours to suit the needs of the School e.g. they may be required to work in the evening or weekends to support School activities.

This role will require the post holder to work from 8am – 4pm and 10am – 6pm (shifts alternate each week) Monday - Friday.

Key Requirements

The post holder must have good general education to at least A-level standard or equivalent professional experience. In addition, the post holders will be expected to have good interpersonal skills which enable them to communicate tactfully and sensitively with others, both orally and in writing, knowledge of fire safety, health and safety regulations and facilities management issues and demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service.
