Moving Matters is a PE teaching and Sports coaching company with a vision to create a healthier society for future generations.

It's a big vision and we're seeking an impressive individual, inspired and motivated by the same things as us, to join us on our journey. We've been going a while, starting in 2011, we are just about to complete our 15th academic year.

We're a team of great people, trying to do great things but in an envionment which is contantly changing.

However what we do know, is that people don't move enough and that Moving Matters!

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented operations manager with extensive experience of the sports coaching industry to oversee our company's operations. The operations manager will report to the Director and be responsible for ensuring that our business is well-coordinated and productive by managing procedures, projects, and people. The ideal candidate will be an expert at PE teaching in primary schools, have excellent organizational and leadership skills and a strong understanding of operational processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
  • Oversee and manage day-to-day company operations
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to ensure company goals are met
  • Manage and optimize operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve cross-functional processes
  • Support the hiring, training, and supervision of delivery (coaching) staff
  • Ensure compliance with values, company policies and industry regulations
  • Communicate effectively to Director
  • Manage staff training and development, to include overseeing the quality assurance of the delivery workforce

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing coaches or a workforce
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Knowledge of sports coaching industry and primary education
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £36,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
