  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, broadcasters and media outlets.
  • Draft press releases, briefing documents, media notes and Q&A materials.
  • Identify and secure media opportunities that support client objectives.
  • Manage media enquiries and act as a key point of contact for journalists.

  • Manage and create social media content across relevant platforms.
  • Monitor, analyse and report on media coverage and social media engagement.
  • Work closely with talent, brand partners and external stakeholders.

About You

  • Previous experience within Public Relations, Communications or Sports PR.
  • Strong understanding of the sports media landscape.
  • Experience working directly with talent, athletes or public-facing personalities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong copywriting and content creation abilities.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confident managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related field preferred.

Desirable

  • Existing contacts within sports, lifestyle or mainstream media.
  • Experience managing social media channels and content.
  • Additional language skills would be advantageous.

Additional Information

This role will involve occasional evening and weekend work, as well as attendance at events and media opportunities in the UK and overseas when required.

If you are passionate about sport, media and communications, and are looking to develop your career within a highly respected sports PR environment, we would love to hear from you.
