Spring House Medical Centre is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salaried GP to join our team. We are a Salaried GP model practice and are looking to recruit a 2 or 3 session GP to join our team. We are a member of the Welwyn Garden City PCN. Via our PCN we employ pharmacists, in-house MSK physiotherapists, mental health nurse, social prescribers and a care co-ordinator who work alongside the rest of the practice team. The surgery prides itself on the excellent patient care that it offers the community of 9,500 patients that it serves.
You will be responsible for providing primary care services to a diverse patient population. We are looking for someone who is committed to providing high-quality patient care and who is enthusiastic about working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve this goal. We are a Total Triage practice and our focus will be increasing our capacity to fulfil our practice contractual requirements.
About Us:
- We offer a mix of 12.5 minute face to face and telephone consultations
- We currently have a Triage GP every morning to deal with all incoming AccuRx requests.
- We use of the Acute In-house Visiting Service
- Use of hospital @ home service
- Enhanced Access appointments provided by the GP Federation
- Yearly away afternoons – for team building and practice development.
Systems Currently Used:
- SystmOne and AccuRx
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality general medical services to patients within the practice, including diagnosis, treatment, and referral where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records including appropriate follow up and safety-netting.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the practice team to deliver effective and efficient patient care.
- Contribute to the development of the practice’s clinical strategic plans improving current workflows.
- Manage self-generated admin (pathology, tasks and documents)
Requirements:
- Qualified GP with MRCGP or equivalent
- Active registration with the GMC and appropriate medical defence organisation membership
- Demonstrable experience in providing high-quality primary care services within a general practice setting.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Full UK Driving License
