We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking and conscientious Cleaning Operative to join the Bonavich family on a permanent part-time basis, covering a professional medical practice in the local area.

The Role

You will be responsible for delivering a thorough, high-quality clean of a GP surgery — ensuring the premises are immaculate, hygienic and ready for patients and staff at the start of every working day. Working in a medical environment means standards matter enormously here, and we are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in the quality of their work.

This is a straightforward, consistent and rewarding role with the same shifts every week ideal if you are looking for reliable part-time income that fits around your life.

Shift Pattern

Wednesday and Saturday
6:00am - 8:00am ( you can start earlier)
4 hours per week total

The same two shifts every week no surprises, no last-minute changes.

What You Will Be Doing

• Thorough cleaning and sanitisation of all clinical and non-clinical areas including waiting rooms, consultation rooms, corridors, toilets and staff areas
• Mopping, vacuuming, dusting and surface wiping to a high standard throughout
• Restocking washroom consumables including soap, paper towels and toilet roll
• Safe disposal of general waste in accordance with hygiene protocols
• Ensuring all areas are left clean, tidy and presentable ready for the next day
• Reporting any maintenance issues, damage or concerns to your Bonavich supervisor

What We Are Looking For

• A reliable, punctual and trustworthy individual — this is a medical environment and consistency matters
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential — full training will be provided
• An eye for detail and a genuine pride in doing a job properly
• The ability to work independently and manage your own time within the shift
• Good communication — you will check in with your Bonavich supervisor regularly
• An understanding of basic hygiene and cleaning standards, particularly in a healthcare or professional setting
• Must be able to provide satisfactory references prior to commencement

If four hours a week is not enough, we have additional shifts becoming available across our London client base. Once you are settled in and we can see the quality of your work, we will always look to offer our reliable operatives more hours first before advertising externally.
